Beginning by playing PS5 titles, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN during September North America, while FIFA 23 was the most popular sport in Europe (which is not a surprise considering how well-known football is in Europe). A different September release, The Last of Us Part 1 was ranked third in both regions.

Moving to PS4, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game of the month across the US and Canada and Canada, while FIFA 23 was the highest position in Europe. In terms of PSVR titles, Beat Saber was the number. #1 game both in North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR being ranked second and third in both regions.

For games that are free to play, which includes PS5 and PS4 together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada and Canada, while Rumbleverse was the most played free-to-play game across Europe.

PSVR 2 will launch with the announcement of Star Wars: Tales from a Galaxy and Resident Evil Village. For more details read all we know about PSVR 2.
